Glasses?

My mom ordered some Warby Parker glasses for home try on, and I think I may have found some that I like... Any opinions? Oh and p.s. GET SOME WARBY PARKER GLASSES, if, like me, you suffer from genetically bad vision, or you know, you're a hipster and you want cool glasses.

OMGilt

Gilt has a "Fashion Avante-Garde" sale going on. I can't even begin to tell you how much I want some Rodarte, but alas, nothing is nowhere near my starving-(not really)-unemployed-college-student budget. But I figured I could at least lust over these wonderful items from my wonderful glowing computer screen, because hey, what else is there to do over winter break, and you know, maybe one of you guys could give yourself a nice after-Christmas/Hanukah-I-didn't-get-what-I-wanted present.

And basically a forest floor vest. I really wanna rock this and see all of the funny looks I get, especially here in the highlands of good ole' Colorado...

lipstick lines

I've been really into lipstick lately, especially the marks it leaves on cups and mugs and straws. There's something about it that's just so old fashioned and reminds me of my grandmothers. And the other day when I went to Gaga's Workshop, I bought a lipstick that is red and black that goes on dark and moody, which I just love. There's nothing like a pale girl in dark(ish) lipstick, ignoring the whole vampire thing. At least when I do it I feel more powerful and like people look at me differently, which is great.

So right now I'm sitting in my Astronomy Review Session... This is kind of a waste of time... GAH. There are also no stars in New York City, therefore we can't look at the stars, ever. I guess I should have thought of that before I took this class instead of biology or Chemistry again... Oh well. At least my Professor is the SHIT. {Laura Kay, I <3 YOU}

Holiday Window Shopping

So the other Wednesday, I hopped on the subway and headed down to 5th Ave and 59th(ish) to photograph the holiday windows of Saks and Bergdorfs for The Spec (The Columbia Daily Spectator for those of you not attending this fine University).
